It's clear that Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia were way ahead of their time when the respective network show, "The Golden Girls," premiered back in the '90's. During a time when social justice was in its early stages and society wasn't quite catching up with the times fast enough, it was refreshing to see a show promote morals that gave respect to individuals of all classes, genders, races, sexualities, and creeds. Thank you Golden Girls for spreading a message of love, inclusion, and diversity during a time when we needed it most. Your message is still being heard today.
