Delhi on Wednesday faced sweltering heat with the mercury reaching 52.3 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded at Mungeshpur with the mercury touching 52.3 degrees Celsius, which was highest in the city's history.
