Per The Hindu, For 2004-12, the number is 1,46,373, at a much higher annual average of 16,264.
- The latest National Crime Records Bureau data show that farm suicides rose sharply by almost 450 in Maharashtra in 2012 to touch 3,786.
- Andhra Pradesh logged 2,572 farm suicides in 2012.
- Kerala saw 1,081 such farm deaths,
- Uttar Pradesh saw 745 farm suicides
- Tamil Nadu reported 499. That’s down from 623 the previous year.
The documentary is trying to communicate a natural calamity, a reality, an undigested and unpredictable state created by we humans.
A low budget film, We took up a stand to reach the needy farmer and confront the reality we have created.
Drought is one of the biggest issues besides other natural calamities we are heading to.

A state of natural retribution, taking away the smile of thousands, were people find their ways to answer, the paradoxical survival of their needs as they meet their unexpected enemy. Farmers have sold away most of their cattle's as they are unable to provide them fodder.
Since 2000 till 2013 we humans have witnessed kinds of natural calamities and one among them is the drought.
