Ojcowski Park Narodowy – incredible kid-friendly hiking route just 20km from Krakow. You won’t hear “I can’t go any further!” as it is a short adventure (5km), from the parking and back. We took the black route to the Łokietka cave (did not go inside the cave as forgot to bring some warm clothes, it is 7 °C | 44 °F. down there), then from the cave an easy downhill trail to Brama Krakowska (Krakow Gate) and back to the parking lot. If you go on weekends it is better to arrive early, as the parking lot is full by 10 am. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy traditional polish delights – pirogi, smoked goat cheese… The best one is the place with a lake, huge terrace and it's own trout farm where you can taste freshly caught grilled or smoked trout.
