In a previous video I showed you how to remove language spam in Google Analytics by applying a filter.

However, this filter will only work for data going forward after the filter has been applied. If you look at your old data, the spam hits will still be incorporated in those reports.
So this video shows you how to separate the language spam in the reporting so you can clearly see your actual real traffic data without the language spam.
You will need to go to the Reporting Tab in Google Analytics.
Go to Audience - Technology - Network
Click on Add Segment
Click on +New Segment (Red Button)
Under Adanced, Click on Conditions
In the first dropdwon menu type Language
In the second dropdwon menu choose Matches Regex
In the field put in this code: \s[^\s]*\s|.{15,}|\.|,
Type in a name in the field above and press Save
To see the reporting segmentation, press the Reporting Tab again, and press Add Segment.
You can now choose the new segment that you just created and it will differentiate your traffic in the reporting.
This will not filter out Language Spam going forward. This setting only works for past data in Reporting. To create a filter that will remove the Language Spam going forward, please see my other linked video.
