Easy 3 ingredient recipe for Cranberry Sauce! Danielle explains why this homemade cranberry sauce is a much healthier version of canned cranberry sauce that is basically High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Ingredients:
1 bag of Cranberries
1 tbsp of Orange Zest
3/4 cup Stevia or Swerve
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Place cranberries in small pot of 3/4 c water. Then stir in all ingredients except vanilla in the pot and simmer 10-15 minutes until cranberries pop.
Then add in vanilla
This is going to taste different because it is real cranberry sauce so if you know that going into it, that will help you enjoy it more. Make this sweeter if you would like with more sweetener.
High fructose corn syrup attributes to weight gain, type 2 diabetes, high triglyceride levels, and a major spike in insulin levels which can effect our hormone balance.
