The difference between the first-generation and the second-generation of battery replacement stations.
The process of changing battery is actually very simple.
1.The first step is to make and appointment for the replacement service on NIO APP (or place an order directly within 2 kilometers from the battery replace station);
2.The second step is to drive the car in to the designated parking space of the battery replace station;
3.The third step is to start the battery replace function with one tap on the display of your car;
4.The fourth step is to enter inside the special area for replacing the battery. The second generation of the station includes auto-drive function that make the car to drive into the special area, while for the first-generation station, the car must be driven inside manually by yourself or with the help of the station staff;
5.The fifth step is to wait for the vehicle to self-test to ensure safety.
After the process of replacing the battery is done, the driver can leave the station normally.
