We define ourselves by our attachments, but how closely we hold onto objects, relationships, memories and dreams is not always healthy. This episode of Insight asks, when, if ever, is the right time to let go, and can holding on hold you back?
We talk to a man who refuses to let go of life and plans to freeze his body after his death, hopefully to return as a robot. We speak to a woman who couldn’t let go of her dream, despite it making her unhappy, and another who was unable to let go of possessions after the death of her son.
