The Proton Inspira is essentially a rebadged Mitsubishi Lancer. It features minor styling differences, both on the exterior as well as the interior to differentiate it from the Lancer. Among the differences on the exterior include a redesigned grill and front bumper to make the Inspira's front end look less aggressive than the Lancer, a slightly reworked rear bumper as well as different designs on the alloy rims (the alloy rims on this particular Inspira has been changed, standard 2010, 2011 and the first half of 2012 Inspira 2.0 Premiums came with 16-inch alloys, while the second half of 2012 Inspira 2.0 Premiums onwards comes standard with 17-inch alloys). The interior differences include a different head unit, the repositioning of the speedometer to the right and rev counter to the left, and also a different type of wood (or silver finish, depending on Inspira model) used as the interior trim. And of course, there are also the Proton badges all around the car.
