After the greenback extended its gains, it made a significant retreat. For EUR/USD, which has one eye on the new government in Lisbon, it is a bounce off low support AUD/USD managed to bounce off the round 0.70 level despite unimpressive Chinese data. Worries about Japan keep USD/JPY in the high range. For the kiwi, no news is good news: the absence of the NZD from the governor's statement allowed for some breathing space. As liquidity may fall later in the day, it doesn't mean the lack of action. GBP/JPY seems to have reached a lower high. Is it set to fall?
