Seefeld in Tirol - one of the best location for trekking in Austrian Alps. This is no far from Munich - your could reach it by car in 2 hours or by direct train from Munich Hauptbahnhoff (main train station) by comfortable regional train within 2.5 hours.
On the mountain you could find beergarden with scenic view to the valley and mountain, a lot of children themed playgrounds. You could also go to the top of Seefelder Joch mountain and make nice trekking to other mountain and return. This also possible and will be nice with children.
In winter time you could skiing here - it is not very diverse but long and comfortable way from mountain to the bottom. Modern mountainbahn (Bergbahnenn Rosshütte) and cable car will bring you back to the top of the mountain and skiing rout.
After trekking or skiing you could have a walk and nice dinner in scenic city center of Seefeld in Tirol - there are a lot of traditional restaurants and hotels.
