I finally made it to this much talked about hot spot in Hanoi, and it didn’t disappoint. My intuition was telling me that the food couldn’t possible be that food for the prices that I heard they were offering. Boy was I surprised!

Their menu was extensive and just full of yummy stuff that is made to impress locals and travelers alike. Somehow I ended up ordering mostly pork dishes, I guess that’s the Vietnamese girl in me coming out. Everything came out quick and tasty. The caramelized pork belly was maybe the best that I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lit. The Fried Spring Rolls were great too.

Overall, this was a lovely experience, and at a super-reasonable price. I did notice that the ratings in Google Maps are on the low side, but that’s likely because it’s pricey for Vietnamese standards, and probably not glamorous enough for the fine dining crew who like to spend a lot for very little artsy bites of food. Pretentious, it was not.. The service and staff were great, but not over done.
