Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains with Cams, part number: TC2228SCAM. Today, we're working with tire size: 265-60-R18.These chains are constructed from a manganese-nickel alloy, which makes them corrosion resistant, and strong and durable at the same time. These tire chains have a square-length-ladder-pattern design. The links are small, which will help you with traction in both snow and ice, and also make for a much smoother ride while you drive too, and wear evenly over time. The chains also have these cam tensioners, which will take up all the play in the chains that you may have once they're installed.These come in a quantity of two and they can be used in either the rear-wheel or the front-wheel drive vehicles or all-wheel drive, of course. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour once they're installed.Installing tire chains can be a little tough on the hands, so we do recommend that you wear a pair of gloves when you install these.

I went ahead and laid out the chains in front of the tire to make sure there's no kinks in the lines before we put them in place. Our next step is to lift them up and drape them over the tire.Take our chains, drape them over evenly. Now they can go behind the tire, and make our connections there. Take the end with our hook, go to the end with our links, go in as far as we can, hook them together and then we'll pull it back around the front and make our connection there as well.We'll go to the end with our links here, go in just about as far as we did on the inside. We'll bring our other portion up front, bring it back with a catch on it and tighten it up.

Now you can still see that it's loose, and this is where the cam tensioners come into play. Insert it in, twist, to tighten up the cams. It's that simple. You can keep on going around until it's nice and tight around the tire.Now it's not necessary to tighten down all the cams necessarily, just until it's nice and tight around the tire. At this point what I would suggest is to drive a short distance, double check the tension and then you're good to go.There you have it for the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains with Cams on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee..
