At a time when everyone in the country is desperate to get vaccinated against the coronavirus as soon as possible, Gurugram administration had to suspend the process 18-44 age group. The administration says they have only about 8,000 doses left and therefore people above the age of 45 are being given preference. All new registrations for the 18-44 age group stand cancelled as on 14th May, 2021.
The Gurugram administration will now have to wait for more doses to come from the State Health Ministry to be able to resume the vaccination drive for people belonging to the age group of 18-44.
