Local 5 is a participating member of the International Center for Journalist program. During the month of July, we hosted two journalists from Pakistan.
Muhammad Waqas Azeem is a multimedia journalist with over 12 years of experience in TV, radio, and print journalism with a focus on economy, finance, trade, energy, and politics. Waqas currently works as a senior reporter for 24News HD, an Urdu-language national news TV channel.
Qaisar Khan works for Geo News in Peshawar, reporting on education, commerce, and politics for TV and the website. He is also assigned to cover events on social issues, interfaith harmony, culture, and the environment.
