Featuring brand new choreography from Sadlers Wells Associate Artists Russell Maliphant and Hofesh Shechter plus Adam Benjamin, Destino is a collaboration between Sadlers Wells and Dance United, who have earned widespread acclaim for their work with people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Recent successes have included a stunning large-scale collaboration with Simon Rattle's Berlin Philharmonic.

Destino introduces to London Junaid Jemal Sendi and Addisu Demissie, two young Ethiopian dancers whose lives have been transformed by dance.

Also featured is a vast piece for 130 people aged 9 to 89, many of whom have never danced before and are drawn from the communities surrounding Sadlers Wells.
