Vande Bharat was launched on 6th May'20 as the world’s largest repatriation mission. It helped millions of Indians stranded globally during the global lockdown. Since then, over 89L people have been facilitated for which Air bubble arrangements with 28 countries were put in place.
Ministry of Civil Aviation, airlines, airports, Ministry of External Affairs, Home Ministry of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare played a key role in ensuring streamlined ops of the Vande Bharat mission.
