I did something that most doctors & medical students wouldn't usually do...
I left medicine back in 2012, straight after graduation and I moved to Berlin, Germany to start a new career in tech startups. As if that wasn't exciting and (quite frankly nerve-wracking enough) I then went on to become a social entrepreneur.
Leaving medicine was such a difficult decision for me to make, but I am SO glad that I listened to my instinct and chose a different path, that has led me so much closer to finding fulfilment and true purpose.
