Banff National Park in Alberta is an iconic Canadian location, and on the outskirts of the park is the town of Canmore, where many people live who work in Banff. There's a paved pathway between the towns called the Legacy Trail that makes for one of the world's most gorgeous bike commutes.
But that's not all. A handful of the highways in Banff National Park are closed to car traffic this summer because of the coronavirus pandemic, which means the bike rides are amazing.
So I thought I'd try them both on the same ride. Throw in a gorgeous summer day, and we have my best bike ride of the year so far.

Full disclosure: I work with the tourism marketing agency of the province of Alberta, but they had nothing to do with this video.
