Ingredients
Dough:
1 cup warm water and a packet of yeast.
2 tablespoons sugar.
3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
Pinch of salt.
3 cups AP flour.
Topping:
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
Instructions
Add water and yeast and let bloom 15 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in standmixer bowl.
Mix about 12 minutes.
Place in a bowl and let rise for about 2 hours.
Divide into portions that weight about 56 grams - this should give you a dozen.
Roll into 8 inch logs and place on baking sheets.
Cover and let rise 90 minutes.
Bake at 400F for about 12-15 mins or until brown.
Brush with melted butter. Combine the salt and garlic powder and sprinkle evenly over breadsticks.
