A question was raised as to why not use the County GIS mapping system instead of Google Earth. There are several reasons.

1) It's the county and they're SLOW to update records.
2) Their systems are not very accurate.
3) Their systems are limited in tools.
4) Their disclaimers will tell you they are not to be used for survey purposes.
