#ProPalestine #protesters are spot-on in advocating for an end to Israel's war on Gaza, says sociologist and @InterfaithAmerica founder Eboo Patel. Yet, they should steer clear of distracting side-quests: "Things that are extraneous to that, things that are about insulting other people's identity, things that are about, you know, like 'we need to dismantle the university police force', that's a distraction."

He emphasizes, "I'd like the peaceful protest to focus on stopping the war and cooperating with the university administration."
