The misconduct probe against suspended Judge Nana Makhubele is set to proceed on Wednesday, 24 January 2024. This is despite her legal representation's failed attempt to have it postponed - yet again - to the end of February 2024. The Judicial Conduct Tribunal is investigating a complaint against Makhubele, alleging that she violated the separation of powers principle by being both a judge and chair of a state-owned company.
