"Although we are only at the beginning, but in-depth processes take lots of time but thank God, with this government we brought construction in numbers that have not been seen until today. We have around 15.000 housing units that were approved in Judea and Samaria and with the help of God a lot more will be approved. Thanks God also in Homesh the Yeshiva returned to Homesh and roads are being paved and thank God the transportation, the infrastructures that actually will enable us to bring many more Jews in Judea and Samaria like the Hawara bypass that was paved with a budget of 300 million shekels and will pass the Hawara village and will strengthen the settlements on the back of the mountain"

"Thank God the government of Israel cancelled the decision 150 that actually stipulates that every housing unit in Judea and Samaria needs to pass a very long 'Via Dolorosa' process for more and more political approvals. And today only the planning and marketing process needs the approval from the political branch, so it makes it possible to build much more"

STORYLINE:
Without many people even being aware of it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has quietly taken what rights groups describe as a substantive step toward Israel’s annexation of the West Bank.
Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich — a staunch supporter of settlements that most of the international community considers a breach of international law — assumed new powers from the military over the occupied territory this year.
As the first minister to oversee civilian life in the West Bank, his role amounts to a recognition that Israel's occupation is not temporary, but permanent, observers say.
Hoping to return to power while facing a corruption trial, Netanyahu offered sweeping concessions to pro-settler lawmakers like Smotrich as he tried to cobble together a coalition late last year.
The coalition agreement Smotrich signed with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant created a new Israeli settler agency, or “minhala” in Hebrew, within the defense ministry to manage Jewish and Palestinian construction in the 60% of the West Bank over which Israel has full control.
The settler agency seeks to double the population of Jewish settlers, build up new roads and neighborhoods and erase differences between life for Israelis in the West Bank and within Israel proper.
