The regulations at § 98.68 require Lead Agencies to have in place effective internal controls to ensure program integrity and accountability, including processes to ensure sound fiscal management. This webinar covered basic fiscal aspects related to administering the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program and was targeted toward new state and territory administrators. The webinar focused on CCDF program fiscal fundamentals. The topics covered included:
• Federal funding requirements
• Allowable uses of CCDF program funds
• Lead Agency budgetary constraints and important areas of consideration for Lead Agency budgets
• Tips and resources for new administrators.
CCDF administrators, especially those newer to the role, were encouraged to participate and engage in a discussion on the fiscal and budgetary aspects of their child care programs.
