This is the view from the drivers seat during the 3rd heat of the slow race at the 2019 Billings Farm Museum Antique Tractor Day.
This is the first time we ran the Allis Chalmers WD in a slow race. and it is the first time Andrew drove in one. He did really well even for his first time.
Neither of us thought that the tractor would run at such a low idle but it did well. The Pertronix electronic ignition helped. If not for the little Panzer garden tractor, he would have won his heat and probably placed in the top 3 overall since the Panzer took 3rd Place.
Should garden tractors be allowed to race with farm tractors? We are interested in your thoughts.
