Reports were rife that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has taken financial help of Rs 25 crore for the treatment of Myositis. Taking to Instagram, the actress has denied all the reports and put out her statement. She wrote, ’25 crore to treat myositis? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending the smallest fraction of that. And, I don’t think I was paid in marbles for all the work I’ve done in my career so I can easily take care of myself. Thank you. Myositis is a condition thousands suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment.’ Samantha was diagnosed with the auto-immune condition ‘myositis’ in 2022. She had announced the same in an Instagram post on October 29, 2022 by sharing a picture from her hospital bed. She even took a break from social media when she was recovering from her illness. On the work front, the actress was last seen in ‘Shaakuntalam’ which failed to live up to the box-office expectations. Her upcoming projects are the action-thriller ‘Citadel India’ alongside Varun Dhawan and ‘Kushi’ which is a love story opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
