The DCL fluidized floor (also known as an aeration trough) efficiently moves dry bulk materials such as cement and fly ash from storage structures like silos, bins, and domes.
We also call this the “reclaim” process. “Reclaiming” involves transferring materials from the bottom of these storage structures so they can be moved onto trucks, train cars, barges, or ships for delivery to their final destination.
Our versatile design achieves over 97% reclaim efficiency. This means that more than 97% of the material stored in silos, bins, or domes is successfully transferred to the next stage of processing, minimizing waste.
We achieve this by directing compressed air through the floor of the silo, bin, or dome. By carefully controlling the timing and location of the airflow, we maximize efficiency in the material reclaiming process.
Since 1981, DCL has been driving the manufacturing industry forward with innovative dust control and bulk-loading solutions. We leverage over 40 years of experience to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional results.
