BenefitsCheckUp.org is a Web-based service that helps seniors with limited income and resources connect to more than 1,350 federal, state and local programs. BenefitsCheckUp screens for programs that pay for: health care (Medicaid), prescription drugs (including Extra Help through Medicare), rent, in-home services, meals (including Food Stamps), heat (energy assistance), property tax relief, transportation, educational assistance, employment and even income support (Supplemental Security Income).
