New Delhi, Sep 25 (ANI): The Congress Party on Friday alleged that the Vasundhara Raje led BJP-Government has allocated mines illegally to vested interests in Rajasthan. Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said the prime accused arrested in the mining scam Principal Secretary Ashok Singhvi is an affiliate of the Rajasthan government. Congress leader Sachin Pilot also elucidate that a guideline was issued on October 30, last year which said that mines can't be allocated. But the auction process was not followed, as all 653 mines were given away by the Rajasthan Government on a first come first serve basis. He further mentioned that on January 12, a gazette notification was issued, and on the same date the Raje government allocated 137 mines. Pilot maintained that alleged scam was the biggest since independence and said the papers show that the almost ten officers have signed the documents on a single day itself. Pilot criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for saying that it was curbing the corruptions, followed by a stern demand of a CBI investigation to be monitored by the Supreme Court.
