Afghanistan's opium crops are a major source of income and jobs for the Middle Eastern nation.
Despite seeing a huge dip during the final years of Taliban rule before the US invasion in 2001, opium poppy cultivation most poppy growing has been concentrated in areas held by the militant.
It's yet to be seen whether the Taliban will uphold its outright ban after sweeping to power in Afghanistan.
