All cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes are allowed to function from today (15 October), but with a limited seating capacity. Cinema halls, multiplexes and theatres have been shut since March to check the spread of the coronavirus disease. Earlier this month, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar confirmed that all cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes will reopen from October 15 under 'Unlock 5'.
