Walking through the royal stables of the Royal Palace of La Magdalena in Santander.

The Royal Stables: Facilities related to the royal palace, were the rooms of the servants of the royal family and the stables. These buildings were built to the taste of Queen Victoria Eugenie, she was English by birth, and granddaughter of the Queen of England Victoria, who remembered the childhood of the queen, when she was vacationing on the Isle of Wight. Apparently, the design of these buildings, attended the queen herself, and that are very similar to buildings that were near the palace of the Isle of Wight.

Today is the residence of the students of the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo.

(Spanish) Las caballerizas reales: Instalaciones anexas al palacio real, fueron las estancias de la servidumbre de la familia real y las caballerizas. Estos edificios fueron construidos al gusto de la reina Victoria Eugenie, que recordaban la infancia de la reina, cuando ella veraneaba en la Isla de Wight. Al parecer, en el diseño de éstos edificios, participó la propia reina, y que son muy similares a unos edificios que se encontraban cerca del palacio de la Isla de Wight.

En la actualidad, son la residencia de los estudiantes de la Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo.
