In this video we show you how to access and chart Federal Reserve Economic Data or FRED. This data is now available to all TradingView members. You can chart, study, and research business trends, labor, and economic numbers alongside all of your trading or investing ideas.
To get started, typed FRED: into the symbol search. This will show you all of the data available. You can also type in keywords like "Inflation" or "Job" to find data relevant to those keywords.
Federal Reserve data is over 815,000 time series from 107 sources. Although some of this data was already available to our users, the number has now increased to 1,109 popular episodes. All you need to do is use the “FRED:” prefix in the symbol search. And if you suddenly find that you are missing instruments, contact us and we will definitely add them.
