BSI Reset Procedure. How to Fix Battery warning light on dash with P1AA2, P0493 & 05FF fault codes stored in engine ECU & BSI. Vehicle in video is a 2014 Peugeot 3008 semi auto.
Vehicle was in for clutch replacement & upon reconnecting the battery we were unable to clear these fault codes & the battery warning light was permanently on the dash.
Turns out the faults were relating the to BSI not being "characterised".. Basically the BSI reset procedure needs running through to reset the codes & reinitialise the data.
