The Scientific Circle of Criminal Procedure of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and Institute of Justice are organised the International Scientific Conference entitled "Contemporary problems in the criminal procedure", which was held on June 28, 2021 in a remote form.
The aim of the event is to analyze the legal regulations relating to the issues of the contemporary criminal procedure. The deliberations of the conference will be a unique opportunity to consider the perspective of the directions of development of criminal procedural law. The event will take the form of an international scientific conference, therefore we hope that the presented papers will be an important source of information in terms of good practices and possible legal solutions, focusing on the issues of the criminal process. The presented papers will be also a starting point for an attempt to define the differences and similarities between the legal orders of modern countries with regard to criminal proceedings.
The event is aimed at practitioners and academics, PhD students, students and all those interested in the subject of the conference. Participation in this event is an excellent opportunity to broaden the scientific achievements and develop the ability to present the effects of work, in particular by young people of science. Our initiative will certainly be a good opportunity to meet, discuss, and exchange views and experiences on the contemporary criminal process.
