This state-of-the-science Webinar detailed and disseminated information related to the diagnosis and management of fetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (FNAIT). The Webinar featured a leading expert in the area of immune thrombocytopenia, Dr. Jim Bussel, who listened to the presentation of two current cases and then provided an overview of the necessary diagnostic testing when FNAIT is suspected as well as the recent recommendations for FNAIT management and treatment. The case presentations and discussion were followed by a brief Q & A with the audience.
