This mower would start then shut off after a few minutes. Many DIY's will change the fuel filter, then fuel pump, and finally possibly carburetor without even considering fuel lines. Fuel lines are just too simple and maybe denial is real. The fuel lines are known to deteriorate after a few years with today's ethanol and other additives in gasoline. This mower is around 10 years old and that was the problem here. Good luck on your DIY repairs and let us know if this helps you repair your mower.
