It is home to the famous Calgary Stampede, a week-long festival featuring rodeo events, concerts, and exhibitions.

Edmonton, on the other hand, is Alberta's capital city and is known for its thriving arts and cultural scene, including the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, the largest and longest-running fringe theatre festival in North America. Edmonton is also home to the largest mall in North America, the West Edmonton Mall.
