This is a road trip series from Guwahati to Arunachal Pradesh completed during July 2022 .This is Episode 5 - Day 6 which covers our journey in Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh).
In this video you will see our visit of Bumla pass.It is 37 km away from Tawang, On the day when you decide to travel to Bumla pass - you should start your day early, so you can visit the Bumla pass and other lakes that come on the way.
This is a highly sensitive area because of India - China border, due to this there are restrictions of time when you can enter this area and the time by when you need to exit this area. Usually it takes around 1.5hrs to reach bumla.

2.Madhuri lake- New name - Sangestar lake.It is located 36 km from Tawang. This lake is also known as Madhuri Lake. The Sangestar was created by falling rocks, boulders and trees in an earthquake. The lake was featured in a Madhuri Dixit (Bollywood actress) dance sequence in the movie Koyla, as a result of which it has come to be called the Madhuri lake.
