When looking at immigration policy in the U.S., Americans are almost evenly divided. Slightly more than half of adults believe the focus should be dealing with illegal immigrants already in the U.S., while 45% say the focus should be halting the flow of undocumented immigrants across borders, explains Gallup Editor-in-Chief Frank Newport.
