Full walkthrough of a Greater Anglia (GA) class 321 Renatus train.
This video is a full walkthrough inside all 4 carriages of a class 321 EMU (Electric Multiple Unit).

The class 321 are currently only operated by Greater Anglia and are one of the older train fleets currently in service with the operator. All the class 321 units are AC overhead electrification electric trains with all units fitted for AC only operation.

The class 321 have been in service on services out of London Liverpool Street along the Great Eastern Main Line for a number of years. Each unit is now declassified to standard class throughout as although there is a small first class area at 1 end which is usually declassified due to these units operating alongside standard class only class 720 trains. Seating is 3+2 throughout standard with 2+2 in first class, doors are at the 1/3 and 2/3 positions along each of the 4 carriages and there are no end gangways fitted to the ends of each train.

The class 321are currently used on services out of London Liverpool Street (8 carriage formations) to Southend Victoria, Braintree, Colchester Town, Clacton-on-Sea and Ipswich as well as single 4 carriage sets on the Southminster, Walton-on-the-Naze and Harwich Town branches.

The class 321 are going to leave GA when all the 5 carriage class 720 Aventra units enter service on all GA services out of Liverpool Street (except Stansted Express and Norwich Intercity services). Once the class 321 leave GA some units may be refitted to operate as different units with other operators.

Although they were planned to leave GA a ew years ago a number of units were refurbished and are now called Renatus units which is what the unit in this video is. These units are now fully accessible with an accessible toilet fitted as well as improved interior information displays along with a full replacement of the seats. All class 321 operated services now usually operate with at least 1 Renatus unit in the formation.
