The Aux Arc (pronounced "Ozark") is a replica 38-foot keelboat. Powered by oars or sail, she recreates the shallow-draft watercraft that once navigated the rivers of North America. The boat travels hundreds of miles each year from a base in Arkansas to educate youth and adults alike about the traders and inland sailors who moved cargoes on rivers like the Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, White, Apalachicola, Chattahoochee, Alabama, and Escambia, Ouachita, and others.
@TwoEggTV often sponsors trips by the Aux Arc, including appearances by the vessel in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. You can see the boat on April 1-2 at Three Rivers State Park Pirate & Heritage Festival when it will be in Sneads, Florida. The event will bring the life and times of the notorious adventurer William Augustus Bowles to life.
