Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting on class 12 board exams tonight, government sources informed. Modi will be briefed on all options being considered by the government regarding the class 12 board exams.
After discussion between state and central ministers, the government has come up with three alternatives – option A: holding exams for only major subjects, option B: holding exams on a new format including short answer type questions, and option C: assessing students based on their performance in the past three academic years. The final decision taken by the government will be share with the Supreme Court on June 3.
