An early-hours call at a Luton petrol station helped secure the manslaughter conviction of Cleon Brown.
He was caught on CCTV asking to use the cleaning equipment, which provided irrefutable evidence to back up telematics and mobile phone tracking data which placed him at the flat where Saul Murray was murdered.
Cleon Brown will serve 11 years for Mr Murray’s manslaughter. He will also serve 11 years, to run concurrently, for conspiracy to commit robbery. Brown was convicted alongside Surpreet Dhillion, Temidayo Awe, and Ikem Affia, who were all put behind bars for their involvement in the honeytrap murder.
