Learn how to make a super easy mosaic cake that's a hit for any occasion or get-together!
No baking, no eggs—just a few basic ingredients and you're good to go. Customize it as you like because, let's face it, who can say no to a slice of chocolate biscuit cake? 😋
You'll need
400 g tea biscuits
2 tbsp granulated sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder
200 ml milk
50 g butter
Melted chocolate
Chopped pistachios
Here's how
First, crush the biscuits into chunks, not too small, just use your hands.
For the sauce, grab a mixing bowl and pour in the milk. Add melted butter, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Give it a good mix.
Toss in the broken biscuits and stir until everything's nicely coated.
Transfer the biscuit mix onto a sheet of plastic wrap, wrap it up tight.
Shape the cake by squishing it at the edges with your hands.
Now, pop that shaped cake into the freezer and let it chill for at least 2 hours.
Once out of the freezer, unwrap the plastic, wait a bit, and cut the cake into slices as thick as you like.
For a fancy touch, take a slice, dunk it in chocolate you've melted using a double boiler. Sprinkle on some chopped pistachios, hazelnuts, or walnuts, and serve it up. Enjoy!
