A cracking entry for this seasons Scintillator, and conditions would certainly play their part. With plenty of showers about, those who liked wet conditions would have the edge, but making a good start would be imperative. A super entry in the RH Sidecars, with Paul Whitelam, Rob Wilson, Mark Cossar, Rod & Gareth Winterburn, Colin Blackbourn, and all the way from Cornwall, the Goudge brothers. Some great racing in this class, despite the tough conditions. In the 500cc Solo's there were plenty with experience in these wet conditions, Mitch Godden and Paul Cooper to name just a couple, but young Charlie Saunders seems to be able to handle any conditions on any track, so would the older generation be able to handle him? In the LH Sidecars it was going to be interesting to see if Martin Cuff/Steve North on their lightweight 600cc single cylinder machine would gain any advantage over all the other much heavier 1000cc outfits.
