The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced recently that many Americans will be able to receive booster shots beginning in the Fall of 2021.
This announcement came after the CDC amended the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to allow a third dose to be administrated to people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems after an initial 2-dose series.
So it is no surprise that many Americans are wondering what the difference is between the two. Watch this short video featuring Rebekah Sensenig, D.O., Infectious Disease Specialist with Riverside Health System, to learn more.
