The Uttar Pradesh government has denied permission to a Congress delegation led by Rahul Gandhi to visit the violence-hit Lakhimpur Kheri where the authorities have imposed restrictions under Section 144.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will also visit violence-hit district.
