Willie, Sarah and their dogs, Jack Spaniels & Nori, continue their biggest adventure yet - leaving suburban life and moving over the sea to a remote cottage on the Isle of Skye, off the west coast of the Scottish Highlands.

This week, the Skye Lifers start to feel the change in the seasons and get thinking about preparations for the winter.

We do a bit more to our kitchen renovation - making extra freezer space to store our fished and foraged food in case the worst should happen and we get snowed in at the cottage (again..!).

Plus we make the most of the last autumnal sunshine to get out and dig for the weirdest things we have ever collected from the beach - razor clams, or 'spoons' as they are known here!
